In late August 2025, I had the opportunity to deliver the keynote address at InsurteChile in Santiago, Chile—representing Kaleido-Life, where I serve as an advisory board member and offer behavioral strategy. Speaking before more than 1,000 attendees, I explored how behavioral economics is redefining the role of AI-modeling in the insurtech space both in Latin America and worldwide—transforming efficiency into genuine behavioral connection.
Here are some key takeaways:
AI becomes meaningful only when behavior gives it context. Data models must mirror how people actually think, decide, and act—not just how systems expect them to.
Fintech and Insurtech’s next evolution is emotional intelligence. Technology must translate efficiency into empathy, turning automation into connection.
Behavioral data is the missing language of personalization. When integrated into modeling, it moves communication from predictive to truly human.
Innovation is not replacing the human—it’s revealing the human within the model.
